3 Posters.jpg
My purpose was to capture the attention of the viewer from across the room. I used dramatic photography and bright blocks of color to achieve this.
I wanted them to look at the poster, see things that they never noticed before, ask questions, and look inside for the answers.
It was interesting to watch people when they viewed the posters. I was curious to know which one would be the most popular of the three…
I had a clear idea, at the time, which one was the “best” and assumed that people would bid on that one the most.
However, I discovered that people were drawn to the poster that affected them more deeply than the others. I realized that there wasn’t a “best” one.
That each one told its own story. And within the story, there were people who connected with it. Discovering this truth is the basis of my artistry to this day.
